«Mirabilia Romae. Rivista interdisciplinare di studi su Roma medievale» is an annual peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to publishing art-historical, archaeological, historical, epigraphic, philological and paleographic studies on Rome from the early medieval period to the early 15th century. The journal welcomes articles, both narrowly-focused and wide-ranging, not only on the city and on the idea of Rome in the Middle Ages, but also on the Urbs as a crossroads for exchanges between northern Europe and the Mediterranean, as well as on aspects of modern reinterpretation, reuse and adaptation of the vast monumental and literary heritage of the medieval city.
